Arena design is something lots of people think they can do efficiently. We see so many arenas that just need a few minor tweaks to really be efficient, but very often people complain when these minute changes are made, because they relied on the imbalances to get ahead.

Owners often believe their arenas are perfect; and yet imbalances exist. It's not just styles of play that changes the game; it's the layout of the arena, the exploits of the equipment, and the inordinate number of little things that crop up to give one team an advantage over the other.

With this in mind, we've found that arenas that have obvious imbalances are better balanced than arenas that seem perfect. This is because false security is a factor in the play of this game.
